Alerts & Incident Routing

Define complex alert policies across all your telemetry streams using Senzor's Safe MQL. Route critical incidents to your team via Webhooks or Slack before customers notice.

Prerequisites

  • An incoming Webhook URL from Slack, Discord, or OpsGenie.

1. Dashboard Configuration

Before injecting code into your application, you must provision an API key from the Senzor dashboard.

1

Create Policy

Navigate to Alerts & Incidents and click 'Create Policy'.

2

Define MQL Trigger

Write your evaluation condition using MQL.

3

Attach Destination

Provide your Slack or Custom Webhook URL to route the notification payload.

2. SDK Installation

Select your environment below to view the initialization code.

// Alert if more than 50 errors occur in 5 minutes
COUNT(status == 500) > 50 in 5m

// Alert if Average APM latency exceeds 2 seconds
AVG(duration) > 2000 in 15m

// Alert if specific critical route fails
COUNT(route == "/api/checkout" AND status >= 400) > 5 in 1m

Alerts are evaluated continuously on a rolling window.
